NEET 2022: What happens after the result is declared?

What if I fail in NEET?

NEET 2022 Seats at Deemed and Central Universities
Candidates qualifying for NEET 2022 will be able to apply to all central and deemed universities. Among the central universities are Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), and colleges affiliated with Delhi University (DU) and Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI).
As with AIQ, the DGHS is the counseling authority for Deemed and Central Universities. In addition, the NEET Counseling for the deemed and central universities will also be conducted online.
For applications to MBBS/BDS seats in deemed and central universities, candidates need to fill a separate application form released by the DGHS following the release of the NEET 2022 notification.
NEET Counseling 2022: For 15% All India Quota
- The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India holds the Counseling for 15% of All India Quota Seats.
- 100% deemed, central universities will participate in online MCC NEET counseling 2022.
- Seats of ESIC and AFMC, BHU & AMU will also be filled through 15% AIQ NEET Counseling.
- Candidates will apply for 15% All India Quota seats as per the directions of DGHS and seats left vacant after 2 rounds of Counseling will be adjusted in the mop-up round.
- Those candidates who take part in All India Counseling can also participate in State Counseling of their respective states.
Cutoff
NEET 2022 Cut Off will be published by the NTA on the official website at neet.nta.nic.in after the declaration of NEET 2022 results. Candidates who have prepared well for the exam by solving NEET mock test and NEET previous year question papers have higher chances of securing a higher rank in the exam.
