JEE Main 2023 Syllabus
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon be releasing the JEE Main syllabus 2023. The released syllabus details will give candidates information about the topics to be covered for JEE Main 2023 preparation. Like the previous years, the syllabus for JEE Main 2023 will be based on the topics of Class 11 and 12 for Maths, Physics and Chemistry.The JEE Main 2023 paper 1 is usually conducted for admission into the BTech programmes in various NITs, IITs and GFTIs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission in BArch/ BPlan programs.

JEE Main 2023 Syllabus for Paper 2: Aptitude Test (B.Arch/B.Planning)
Part I
Awareness of persons, places, Buildings, Materials.
Objects, Texture related to Architecture and build—environment.
Visualising three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional drawings.
Visualising. different sides of three-dimensional objects.
Analytical Reasoning Mental Ability (Visual, Numerical and Verbal).
Part II
1 Three dimensional – perception: Understanding and appreciation of scale and proportion of objects, building forms and elements, colour texture, harmony and contrast. Design and drawing of geometrical or abstract shapes and patterns in pencil. Transformation forms both 2 D and 3 D union, subtraction, rotation, development of surfaces and volumes, Generation of Plan, elevations and 3 D views of objects. Creating two dimensional and three-dimensional compositions using given shapes and forms.
Sketching of scenes and activities from memory of urbanscape (public space, market, festivals, street scenes, monuments, recreational spaces, ect.), landscape (river fronts, jungles, trees, plants, etc.) and rural life.
Part III (Planning)
General Awareness regarding development issues, government programs/schemes etc., Comprehension, critical thinking and analytical skills, graphs, charts and map reading skills, simple statistics, CBSE class X Social Sciences topics.

1. Is the JEE Main 2023 syllabus released?
JEE Main syllabus for 2023 has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on their website along with the new information brochure covering all the details of the exam.

3. Will JEE 2023 have a reduced syllabus?
No, there is no change in the JEE 2023 syllabus. For JEE 2021, NTA has decided to provide choices in one section (Numerical value questions) to rationalise the decision of different Boards across the country regarding the reduction of syllabus.
4. Is chemistry compulsory for JEE Mains 2023?
Candidates must have passed physics as compulsory subjects along with Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, chemistry or any other subject as optional subjects. Chemistry is not a compulsory subject anymore for B.E/B. Tech courses as per the recent notification by NTA.
