JEE Main 2023 Exam Pattern

NTA has released the JEE Main 2023 exam pattern along with the official notification at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 exam dates has been announced both sessions for two papers namely Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) and Paper 2 (B.Arch or B.Plan). Moreover, candidates planning to appear for the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2023 Exam are advised to check the JEE Main eligibility criteria before applying for the test.

  1. As per the exam pattern of NTA JEE Main 2023, both the papers will be held in online computer-based mode except for the Drawing test for B.Arch.
  2. For paper 1, each subject consists of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and 10 Numerical Value Questions, and out of 10, only 5 questions are compulsory as per the JEE Main 2023 exam pattern. 
  3. Candidates are advised to check the JEE Main exam pattern 2023 clearly before the commencement of the examination as it helps them to know about the mode of JEE Mains 2023, the number of sections & questions, questions type, marking scheme, etc. 
  4. The candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer while there will be a negative marking of one-fourth mark for every wrong answer.

1.  What will be the medium of JEE Main Paper 1?

Ans: JEE Main Paper 1 will be available in 13 languages, including English and Hindi.
