The NEET, or National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test, is a medical entrance test conducted across India once a year. NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To pursue any medical course in India, a medical aspirant needs to clear the NEET successfully. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the time limit to apply for the medical entrance exam NEET 2023. The NEET-UG correction window has opened and the last date to fill NEET 2023 application form for candidates is last week of December 2022 at neet.nta.nic.in. Medical aspirants are advised to complete the application process, on or before the NEET 2022 registration last date. As per the official notice,
1. There is no limit on the number of attempts.
2. Aadhar Card is no longer mandatory when filling out the NEET application form. Any of the other specified IDs will work as well.
3. There is a category-wise age limitation.
Candidates whose application form will be accepted by the authorities will be issued a NEET 2023 admit card. The hall ticket for the NEET exam will be released on the official website. Only the successfully registered candidates can download NEET UG admit card by submitting a user ID and password. Every candidate will be required to carry a hard copy of the NEET 2023 admit card along with other relevant documents on the exam day.
Reservation and seat availability
When the NEET results are announced, every candidate will be given All India Rank {AIR}. Then the counseling process starts in which the medical and undergraduate seats are allotted to the candidates based on their ranks
NEET Reservation criteria have been passed by the candidates and now it accepts candidates only to get the benefit of 27% OBC & 10% EWS reservation under 15% AIQS in the NEET counseling process. The NEET Reservation policy’s update will benefit 2,700 OBC and 550 EWS students. While filling out the NEET Application form, candidates must add the category carefully to be eligible for NEET Reservation. Each state prepares its merit list based on NEET-UG results itself. The total number of seats is 66,000 currently.

Exam Pattern For NEET 2023
- NEET 2023 examination will be conducted by NTA in Pen-Paper Mode.
- The NEET 2023 examination will have one paper of 3 hours 20 minutes duration. The NEET question paper will consist of three separate sections – Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Detailed topic-wise syllabus of NEET 2023: NEET Syllabus
- The NEET question paper will have a total of 200 MCQs. 50 each in Physics & Chemistry, and 100 questions from Biology. A candidate needs to answer 90 questions in Biology and 45 questions each in Physics & Chemistry.
- All questions are of objective type (multiple choice questions); each question with a choice of four answers, only one being the correct choice. Each question carries 4 marks for every correct answer. There is also negative marking, deducting 1 mark for every wrong answer.
- The total duration of the NEET 2023 examination is 200 minutes. There is no time limit for individual parts of the exam.
- The question paper will be in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates must choose question paper language while filling in the application form for NEET 2023. Change of question paper language will not be allowed after the registration.
NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
